SubnetSiege has a home at subnetseige.com
SubnetSiege now has its own address: subnetseige.com. The landing page is the front door, and Play now drops you straight into a match in your browser. No download, no sign-up.
What is new
- Fairer matches. Matches end the same way for everyone, including sudden death online. The server checks every hit claim against where the shooter and the target really were, and a batch of Translocator, splash and projectile edge cases is fixed.
- Smarter bots. Bots aim at where a moving target will be, but only for shots that travel. Beam weapons no longer get a lead. They also use the arc cores now, and they find their way around Orbital.
- A better Orbital. Jump pad flights land safely whatever you do with the controls, the two sides of the station are true mirrors, and no pad flies you past a power-up.
- Analytics only if you allow them. No Google Analytics and no ads load until you press "Allow analytics". "No thanks" plays exactly the same, and you can change your mind under "Cookie settings" in the footer. The privacy page lists everything that is collected, why, and for how long.
What is coming
- Adaptive, human-like bots. Bots that adjust to how well you play, and team orders so you can send your side to defend or attack.
- Online play at play.subnetseige.com. Real matches against other people on a dedicated server. There is no date yet. When it opens, the news here and the "playing now" counter on the home page will say so.
